It was still raining when we left Monticello to drive to Torrey Utah, our Capitol Reef NP 'town'. We expected little photography. As we drove west from Blanding we saw some blue sky, and it opened like a curtain to a lovely day. Best of all the rain made the soil really red (for a while). The drive included Natural Bridges NM ... and so you see a 'natural bridge' (if you can see it in the photograph) and a river with red water!
